Our Mission

The Oregon Wrestling Association advocates, promotes, coordinates and provides opportunities for amateur wrestlers to achieve their full human and athletic potential.   The association primarily sponsors and coordinates tournaments for youth wrestlers and all wrestlers competing in collegiate (folkstyle) and the international styles of freestyle, greco-roman and beach wrestling.

Association Make-up

The OWA consists of over 6,000 wrestlers, officials and coaches.  The competitors and mentors are lead by the executive board of the OWA.  Directors from the Kids, Cadets, Juniors, Senior, Mat Officials, Pairings Officials, Cultural Exchange, Women's, Beach Wrestling and Coaches divisions are elected to sit on the executive board, along with the association Treasurer, Vice Chairman and State Chairman.
