Information for ALL Christmas Clash Divisions is available on this page. This event is combined with the Salt Lake Slam which begins on Friday and finishes on Saturday. The Salt Lake Slam is part of the USA Wrestling TOA series.

Weigh in Information

Weigh ins for the Girls Division, Junior High Division and Elementary Division will be Thursday, January 1st. 

All weigh ins will count for the Salt Lake Slam but the wrestler must compete in at least 1 dual meet for their weigh in to count. 

Cost

Cost: Girls is $400 with 4 duals, Elementary is $500 with a 5 dual guarantee & Junior High is $500 with a 5 dual guarantee.

This is a USA sanctioned event so all wrestlers must have a USA Card

Girls Division - 8th grade and below 

Weight classes: 55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,96,102,110,125,140,170 (14)

Junior High Division - 8th grade and below

Weight classes: 71,77,83,87,92,97,102,106,110,119,130,149,187,265 (14)

• No weight allowance and must weigh in with competition singlet or two piece uniform.
• Wrestlers can not be wrestling in High School to compete in the duals (must be 8th grade or younger)
• We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will run a 16 team line bracket and then break out to pools for the final 3 duals. 

Elementary Division - 6th grade and below

Weight classes: 45,49,54,59,63,67,71,74,78,84,92,100,117,135 (14)

• No weight allowance and must weigh in with a competition singlet or two piece uniform.
• Wrestlers must be in elementary school (6th grade and below)
• We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will run a 16 team line bracket and then break out to pools for the final 3 duals. 

*Schedule is tentative and may change based on number of teams. Final schedule will be released Wednesday Dec. 31st.

• Thursday, January 1st
  • Weigh ins 5:00pm-6:00pm onsite or can be via satellite but must be scheduled with your team for a satellite weigh in. Wrestlers must show a printed USA card
• Friday, January 2nd
  • 7:45am: Building opens
  • 8:30am: JH Boys & Elementary Boys rounds 1,2 & 3 
  • 12:15pm: lunch break (time is approximate but we will take a 30 minute break for lunch after round 3)
  • 12:45pm: JH Boys & Elementary Boys rounds 4 & 5
  • 3:30pm: Girls duals begin (4 rounds - 4 duals each)
