Special Notes:

In honor of Matt Williams, former Clackamas High School wrestler, who died tragically while on vacation in Las Vegas in 2010. Matt's dad, Ken, is Clackamas High School's current assistant coach. Matt was a 4 year letter winner at CHS, and wrestled on the Oregon National Team as well, in addition to placing multiple times at Freestyle and Greco State. 

 

We will be taking the proceeds from the entry fees and spectator costs, and create four equal scholarships to be given to one Elementary, Middle School, High School, and Clackamas area wrestler.  Applications will be at the tournament.  Wrestler must participate in the tournament either as a referee, or participant, to eligible for the scholarship.  The scholarship may go to participating any of the following  activities:  1. A national Collegiate, Freestyle, or Greco Tournament.  2. A Regional Collegiate, Freestyle, or Greco tournament.  3. A summer camp.

 

Applications will be reviewed by a committee and winners will be announced in the weeks following the tournament.  Selection will be based on Academic Credentials, Wrestling Credentials, and Citizenship. Last year, due to a great turnout, we were able to give out 8 scholarships.

Spectator Cost: $2 suggested donation for the scholarship awards

Weigh-in Times: Weigh in either Friday April 5th from 6-7 pm or Saturday from 7-8 am

Wrestling will begin at 10:00 am
