Association Make-up
The OWA consists of over 10,000 wrestlers, officials and coaches. The competitors and mentors are lead by the executive board of the OWA. Directors from the Kids, Cadets, Juniors, Senior, Mat Officials, Pairings Officials, Cultural Exchange, Women's, and Beach Wrestling divisions are elected to sit on the executive board, along with the association Treasurer, President and Executive Director.
Our Mission
The Oregon Wrestling Association advocates, promotes, coordinates and provides opportunities for amateur wrestlers to achieve their full human and athletic potential. The association primarily sponsors and coordinates tournaments for youth wrestlers and all wrestlers competing in collegiate (folkstyle) and the international styles of freestyle, greco-roman and beach wrestling.
